so here is a fast update on our life..and yes soon i will post new pics! we made the move out to the ranch in cali and hit the ground running! we unpacked, started a very large organic garden, jake is starting school soon and being the stay at home dad (if you know him you know thats always been his dream) and i am looking for work! we are loving being back in cali but still miss our miltary and NC peeps dearly! emmitt is getting so big! his vocab is growing daily! he loves having jake be here with us and he LOVES living in the country! they other day he asked me if dad had to go back to work and i said no daddy is here to stay and he was so exicted! we have found a great co-op preschool that we love which he will start in step. right now we are just going once a week to get used to the teachers! we have also being enjoy doing lots of stuff with family and friends! we have had so many blessing lately im an overwhelmed how good god is..we have been blessed with a great family, wonderfull friends, and job opper., our friends have been blessed with childern..we could not ask for more (well expect that NC was a lil closer..) we hope every one the best!

i cant belive this thur my mom and aunt fly in..we pack the moving truck..drop aunt gail and emmitt off at the airport..then start the trip across the country...its funny and scary all at the same time!

MARCH 22ND

WOW..what a month where to start...well i am offically doing the two day walk for a cure in oct. in NC..i will post my website for dontations soon! (yes im shamless) Jake and I are offically heading back to CA this month on the 22nd..WE both have been so blessed here in NC with wonderfull people that we will miss..good thing for phones! Emmitt is growing like a weed and getting tall and lanky already..guess he has some of my genes in him...I have been working very hard at getting back into shape by doing crossfit. mma. and olypmic lifting! Thats all thats new with us..as always we are so thankfull for the many loved ones we have in our life...we are blessed beond anything i could ever imgain

SNOW SNOW SNOW

Can you belive what we woke up too..SNOW SNOW and more SNOW!!! Emmitt wanted to play right away so we bundled everyone up and went outside! Gibbs enjoyed flying through the air like wonder dog and "pointing"snowballs..Emmitt james kept saying "Merry Christmas" and running around like a carzy man! And he and Jake could resit ganing up on me in snowball fight! It turned out to be a great day of fun..well see how long it sticks!

have a holly jolly christmas

So this is way long overdue but here it goes..This year we where very blessed to have Jake home for the hoildays! We decided to spend it as a family here in fayetteville. It was such a joy watching Emmitt really get into it..He is sitll sing Jingle Bells. We started a count down for Emmitt so he would know when the big day was. Fastfoward to Christmas Eve. We went to church as a family. It service was beatfull..well what i saw of it..Emmitt was not in the mood to sit for anyamount of time this close to Christmas. We get home and let Emmitt open a presnt from Auntie Aunite (notice the awsome pjs in the pic). Well we sent Emmitt off to bed and the real fun of makeing Christmas appear began. Unlike most parents we where not prepared and stayed up late wrapping..Emmitt woke up early of Christmas moring and had a blast tearing through presnets. After some family time we went to a friends house to eat! As I look back on the season now I really do feel blessed..Blessed with wonderfull family and friends..

Jakes Jump

Emmitt and I went to watch Jake jump about two weeks ago! It started out to be cold day but warmed up for the jump! Getting out there was an event it its self..Jake gave the wrong directions and I ended up in the middle of nowwhere..some nice guy helped me out though and with a lil cali drivng skills we made it just in time to see jake exit the aircraft! Emmitt had a blast wathcing jake jump then running out to him on the Drop Zone..While we where waiting for all the guys to get in Emmitt was wearing jakes helment yelling at everyone to do push-ups and listen to him (wonder where he gets that from!) All in all it was a blast! It was supposed to be jakes last jump but well see!

Should we stay or should we go...

Well...everyone has been asking whats next for us since Jake ETS date is coming up this May. We as a family have decided not to re-enlist in the Army. We will be moving back to Cali to live on the ranch while Jake goes to Sac State. There is still a large chance that we will be stop lost but at this point it looks like we will be making the long trek across the country. We will miss all the wonderful people that have touched our hearts and life's while we have been living in Fayetteville, but i know we will still be close not matter what state we are in! I have learned a lot while living here from a lot of people. On they other hand it will be nice that emmitt will be able to be surround by the love of a big family! i cant wait to be on the ski hill again with him and spend time with my family and DOFs. There is alot of changes ahead of us but we are ready!
